Hoya Chouke Care Guide
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sunlight but avoid intense afternoon sun.
Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Do not let the plant sit in water; ensure good drainage.
Soil: Use a well-draining, airy potting mix. A mix designed for orchids or succulents works well.
Temperature: Optimal range is 60-80°F (16-27°C). Protect from cold drafts.
Humidity: Enjoys high humidity. Consider misting regularly or using a humidifier.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
Pruning: Trim as needed to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth.
Pests: Watch for common pests like mealybugs and spider mites. Use insecticidal soap if necessary.
Notes: Hoyas appreciate being slightly root-bound, so avoid repotting too frequently.
