Petrichor Print by Noelle Phares
Painted off a reference photo my sister sent me from outside of Astoria, Oregon - the term “petrichor” means the smell of a first rain after a long dry spell. When I think of this part of the world I can’t help but smell the rain in the green-drenched landscape. Hoping to build a small house here someday to take myself on annual painting retreats.
The original was painted with oil, acrylic and gouache on wood panel (pictured in the last listing image)
