Hazy and Honeyed depicts one of my favorite places in the whole world, the Big Sur coastline. 

When I lived in San Francisco, Big Sur was one of my favorite getaways. But the grind of work and life in San Francisco’s crowded urbanity - symbolized by the arched figures towering northward over the iconic Bixby Bridge - always loomed over my escapes into this unfettered wilderness. 

The original was painted with acrylic and gouache on canvas.
