Havasupai Falls Print by Noelle Phares
“Havasupai Falls” was commissioned by the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art as part of Noelle Phares’s 2024 exhibition that focuses on the Colorado River. The painting depicts Havasupai Falls, which is a waterfall of Havasu Creek, located in the Grand Canyon in Arizona within the Havasupai tribal lands. Two figures bathe in a foreground pool, lending some scale to the 100-foot falls behind them. High concentrations of calcium carbonate create the vivid blue-green water color the region is famous for.
The original was painted with oil and acrylic on panel (pictured in last listing image).
This is an archival print of my original painting.
